How long will my balloons last?

Balloon life depends on several factors including temperature, humidity, and location.

Indoor balloons can last several days to a few weeks when kept in a stable environment.
Outdoor balloons are affected by sun, wind, and temperature changes and may last several hours up to a full day.

Every installation is designed with longevity in mind and we use products and techniques that may enhance the balloon life. However, balloons are a natural product and can be sensitive to the elements. Latex balloons are subject to it’s own natural breakdown process known as “oxidization”. While foil balloons are known to last much longer they are subject the quality of care, use and the elements in the environment where they are placed. Because of these factors, Balloon Spectacular does not guarantee the longevity of balloons.

Are latex balloons safe?

Yes. We use only high-quality, biodegradable latex made from natural rubber.

Latex balloons are safe for use when handled responsibly; however, they can pose a choking hazard for children under 8, so adult supervision is always required.
Balloon Spectacular supports safe balloon practices and encourages responsible disposal to protect our environment and wildlife.

Do you offer hospital-safe balloons?

Yes! Many hospitals and medical facilities in our area do not allow latex balloons due to allergy concerns.

Balloon Spectacular offers latex-free balloon gift arrangements created with high-quality foil (Mylar) balloons that are safe for hospital environments.
These designs are just as colorful and cheerful as our latex creations and are a perfect way to send joy while following hospital safety guidelines.

Can I purchase helium only?

No. We do not sell helium separately.

Helium is a critical resource reserved for our professional designs to ensure safe handling, proper inflation, and consistent quality. It is a main ingredient used for producing many of the products we offer. We use the exact amount of helium needed to balance float time, structure, and design integrity for each product.

Can I provide my own balloons for inflation or decorating?

No. Balloon Spectacular does not use customer-supplied balloons.

We exclusively work with professional-grade materials from trusted manufacturers to ensure consistent quality and performance.

Even if customer-provided balloons appear to be high quality, we cannot verify how long they’ve been stored or under what conditions (heat, sunlight, or moisture), which can weaken latex or foil. From a professional standpoint, our balloons and helium are the ingredients we use to produce a finished product — just as a professional baker doesn’t ask customers to bring their own flour or butter. Using our own materials gives us confidence in the reliability, safety, and the high-quality results we stand behind.

Do you deliver outside your service area?

We proudly serve Blue Springs, MO- Independence, MO- and select areas of Lee’s Summit, MO

Delivery fees vary by distance and zip code. If you are outside our standard service area, please contact us to confirm availability — we’ll do our best to accommodate your request whenever possible.

Do you offer same-day delivery?

Balloon Spectacular requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for all balloon gift deliveries.

Our gift delivery schedules are set up for two days from today’s date, ensuring we have time to design, prepare, and schedule your order with care.
If you have an urgent request, please contact us directly — we’ll do our best to accommodate if possible, depending on our delivery schedule and design capacity.

Delivery of Easy Decor Packs must be scheduled for 7 days before the date you need them, this is to allow time for design, preparation, and transportation.

Delivery of Custom Event Decor is always in accordance with the approved Event Proposal and Custom Event Decorating Contract.

Do you provide setup and tear-down for large events?

Yes. For custom décor installations such as arches, columns, walls, and backdrops, Balloon Spectacular provides on-site setup and tear-down services. any setup and tear-down fees are applied as stated in the signed event decorating contract.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal through our secure online checkout.
Corporate clients may also arrange pre-approved invoicing or digital payments upon request.
